THE TIRE COLOGNE – Future challenges for the european tire trade

Digitalisation is changing customer behaviour and thus the expectations placed on companies across all industries. How well is the tire trade prepared for this? Does it already have the necessary digital tools and qualified personnel at hand? Have trends such as RFID and autonomous driving already arrived in the tire trade?

This study was carried out in order to obtain well-founded insights into these questions: In cooperation with IFH Cologne, we interviewed managing directors, owners and foremen of workshops and specialist tire dealers in five countries and carried out secondary research and interviews.
